Art is a place that people go to in order to feel free, in control, and be expressive without the fear of judgment. We see that same creativity and passion in Osmara Pedroza Gonzales. She is a high school senior who has been pursuing art as a career ever since she first started drawing.

What first started as a passion, later became a dream in hopes it becomes a lifelong career. She made something that was once a childhood passion into a future dream and enjoys seeing how her imagination and personal feelings are expressed through art that she can share with the world.

Osmara wishes to animate her life stories and experiences sharing her passion and perspective with the world. Her love for animation comes from TheOdd1sOut on YouTube along with many other creators online that tell stories on life and personal feelings.

She is absorbed in how they turn everyday life experiences into a fun, interesting, relatable, and funny animation that everyone can enjoy. 

Gonzalez makes sure to pour her heart and soul into making her art pieces, she believes that if art has some passion and meaning behind it, then it should be considered true art.

If it doesn’t have anything passion or meaning, it’s just, “a bunch of scribbles on paper.”

Osmara said. For Osmara, creating art was, “Love at first sight, I just loved how it was with creative freedom and all that,” and she continued,  “For me art has to have some passion behind it or else it's just a bunch of scribbles, so I do put my emotions into it, sometimes it doesn’t have to be intense it could also be casual emotions.” Her dedication and resolve for art proves that art is not only a few lines and shapes on paper, but as a way to explore ideas, emotions and show human experiences.
