Inside look at the winter pep assembly

Sophia Garcia and Jordan Johnson share highlights of the Teen Beach Movie themed winter pep assembly that took place on Friday, January 30th, 2026 here at Estancia High School.

Estancia ASB surfs in and kicks off the assembly by performing a dance to Surf Crazy from the Teen Beach Movie soundtrack.

Color Guard, Band, and Jazz performing, leaving the crowd in awe. 

The first game begins, starring the captains of our many sports’ teams. The crowd watches them maneuver their way to the finish line on surfboards.

The next game features a selection of students and their objective is to run to the next pool noodle before it touches the floor.

Club de Danza Cultural puts on an amazing and upbeat folklorico performance. 

And last but not least, the fan-favorite Wig Snatching Game including Mr. Otero, Mr. Shelby, Mr. Abuel and Mr. Anaya to end the assembly.
