Boys’ soccer season improves!

  The Estancia boys soccer team has been soaring this 2025-26 season. Leading league with a 8-0 record, the Varsity boys have become unstoppable. All three teams; Frosh, JV, and Varsity have been dominating together at games and practice showing the strength of their teamwork, comradery, and Estancia soccer program. There has been a significant soar from past years here at Estancia, and our community is loving it. 

Of course, a successful team is built on more than what happens during games, but it is also based on what they do behind the scenes each week. A good amount of freshmen come in and have gotten opportunities to showcase their skills and even get the chance to be on the sidelines of the Varsity level to gain experience by watching how Varsity plays. This helps them learn the expectations, effort, and intensity for playing on the Varsity level. 

We spoke with the head coach of the freshman Eagle team on what improvement he has seen in this team and he shared with us how, “The work ethic and the comradery has improved a lot this year. A lot of the players on the team right now are really fighting for each other." and how  ”The team has a strong sense of being team players on and off the field.”

Emmanuel Negrete, a star freshman on Varsity told us “Definitely the bond and chemistry we have with each other, even if the score isn’t ideal we never put our heads down and give up” is their key way to success of becoming league champions and going undefeated in the season.  

They not only spend time together on the field but they also connect off the field at school. You can often see them sitting with each other at lunch which shows their strong chemistry that they have during their games.

With much passion, love and determination the Eagles continue to work hard each and everyday and continue to soar their way through the rest of their season, where they hopefully have a successful CIF run and a brighter future for the soccer program.
